SAT-7 IS
A DYNAMIC TELEVISION SERVICE BY AND FOR THE CHRISTIANS OF
THE
MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA
The development
of uncensored satellite broadcasts has provided a strategic
breakthrough for Christian ministry in this region. Through SAT-7,
the voice of Middle Eastern Christians is now being heard in an
unprecedented way.

SAT-7 is currently on 24 hours a day in Arabic.
There are also two hours a day of Farsi broadcasts. SAT-7 is a
unique form of witness that makes the Christian message available in
millions of homes. This ministry has also enhanced mutual understanding between
different religious and ethnic communities of the region and is
working to improve the quality of life for many people.

A television is a
priority purchase for any family, and for most it is their only
source of information and entertainment. In several
countries, eight out of ten homes have at least one satellite dish.
As a result, over 115 million people in the region now have direct access to uncensored satellite broadcasts. Illiteracy is prevalent in the
Middle East; 33% of males and 50% of females are illiterate. This is one of the main reasons
why television has become so widespread throughout the region and
why it is such an important and relevant way to encourage the Church
and spread hope!
SAT-7 broadcasts satellite television by and for the
people of the Middle East and North
Africa that seeks to:
Sustain the scattered
Christian communities and encourage them in their faith, service,
and witness to Christ.
Provide its whole
audience with an opportunity to hear a presentation of the
Christian message in its own language
without foreign cultural or
political baggage.
Complement all the
public education channels with a balanced Christian worldview,
reflecting perspectives on human
life and
society.

The SAT-7 USA office
exists to support the satellite ministry in
the Middle East and North Africa both financially and
in prayer.
Our office works with concerned citizens, churches,
agencies and foundations throughout the United States to raise
support for the work of this strategic and vital ministry of
SAT-7. If you are interested in helping
