How is KE101 unique?

People today are busy, overwhelmed with choices, and looking for effective resources to reach our world for Christ. How can we best focus on short-term work, our missionaries, local verses global outreach, and working with the national church? Where can we discuss these important issues?

KE101 presents Kingdom expansion from a local church perspective. In order to maximize the learning experience, information is offered in a variety of formats: audio, video, reviews, PowerPoint presentations, readings, student interaction, forums, etc. To show that global outreach is a responsibility of the entire body of Christ, illustrations and teachings are presented by men and women, a variety of churches, Western and non-Western writers. We examine several outreach strategies and a variety of global issues.

Why is SAT-7 USA hosting KE101?

SAT-7 USA offers practical learning tools to equip leaders and mobilize churches in world evangelization. KE101 is one of several courses we promote and facilitate. Although individuals can take this course, we see greater results when a church leadership team can take KE101 together. When church leaders are on the same page, and have a clear biblical foundation for missions, it is easier for them to make strategic decisions. KE101 is a foundational course for our consulting, Design Your Impact Workshop, and other learning experiences.

Many missions team members start off with an initial exposure to missions but not a biblical, global or cultural awareness. This course can constructively begin to provide relevant biblical and cultural awareness towards leadership alignment. The world of missions is very broad, complex, and diverse. What is globalization, contextualization, incarnational witness, glocal focus, business as missions, etc? We are helping the church use today’s tools to learn and communicate for world evangelization.
