SAT-7 PARS' Air First Live Programs

From a technical perspective live shows are challenging, and the team asks for your prayers as they finalize the details. The first live show will take place on the eve of the channel’s first anniversary, the second will be on Christmas Eve, and the third on New Year’s Eve—dates which will lead to a lot of good discussions about the channel, Christmas, and about starting a New Year with God as our focus!

For the last three years, since it first launched on December 18, 2006, SAT-7 PARS has provided a satellite television platform for Iranian Christians to bring the Good News of Christ to their neighbors and help them build their own congregations.  SAT-7 PARS offers a variety of programs for young people (around 60% of Iranians are under age 25), children, families and women. The channel also offers in-depth theological training and basic Christian discipleship programs which viewers say they desperately need.

SAT-7 PARS viewers’ comments:

-A man called from Tehran and said: “I gave my heart to Christ today and I had a very peaceful day. I am very happy and I feel like a revolution inside me, which is very exciting.”  Our counselor advised him to read the Alpha Course from the website and continue calling. 

-A man called from Tehran and said: “I like SAT-7 PARS programs more than the other channels as there are more teachings and educational programs as well as fun programs and it is very varied which can attract our younger generation better.”

-A man called from Iran and said that he quit heroin after many years. When our counselor explained him about Christ and what he has done for us, he replied: “My heart is filled with peace and I am ready to give my heart to Christ.” So they prayed together and he gave his heart to Christ. He also asked our counselor to pray for his marriage.

-A man called from Iran. He was a lawyer. He said: “I have been watching your programs for the last three months. They were very impressive and I want to give my heart, my money, my career and all my life to Christ.” Our counselor prayed for him he promised to continue to be in contact with the PARS team.
