Yummy Spiritual Lessons

Most men like to eat, but how many can cook? That’s a problem being addressed on a new SAT-7 TÜRK program currently being recorded. The show’s host is a man who likes to eat…and also likes to cook! While he is demonstrating how viewers can stew up something new, he also serves up spiritual food-for-thought.

The host hopes this approach will reach both men and women who might otherwise choose watch other TV stations - but whom he hopes will stop flipping through channels and will keep tuned to SAT-7 TÜRK when they see the appetizing food and information being offered! The show is called Tanri Misafiri, which translates from Turkish approximately into “take care of your special guests.” It is a nice example of biblical living worked out in Turkish culture. Paul encourages Christians in Hebrews 13:2 with these words: “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.”
