PARS a Lifeline into an Iranian Prison

A man has started to call the SAT-7 PARS team regularly from inside a prison. “How did you get our number?” asked the PARS phone counselor. “A relative gave it to me, the same one who gave me a Bible and helped me find Christ.” “How are you able to call us?” “I have my own phone card that I’m allowed to use sometimes.” The PARS counselor has answered many of his questions about the Bible, about church history, and about living the Christian life.

The prisoner shares his new answers with others in the prison who are also followers of Jesus! The man told the counselor that he has a death sentence for his involvement in the drug trade, but that he’s asked God for His forgiveness. He’s amazed that the Lord has kept him alive so far. “And I’m telling everyone about Jesus. He’s the only one who really matters. And I tell all my friends who contact me here to watch SAT-7 PARS.”
