SAT-7 Audience Tops Ten Million

A recent professionally conducted survey by InterMedia found that SAT-7 Arabic has a total audience estimated at 8 million adults. This does not count children who watch the SAT-7 Arabic channel, or the children who watch the SAT-7 Kids channel. If the same percentages of children watch SAT-7 Kids as adults watch SAT-7 Arabic, then that would be about 3 million kids. The kids audience may actually be considerably larger since there are fewer competing kids channels, and kids are heavy TV users.

SAT-7 Pars is so new that no dependable survey information is available. The potential audience is the 70 million mostly Farsi speaking people in Iran and Afghanistan, plus the 73 million Turkish speakers in Turkey.
