SAT-7 News and Prayer Letter | December 2007

Christmas Gifts Needed for the Middle East

As we enter the season of remembering how God sent his only son to the Earth, we are reminded that the ultimate gift of our redemption would come 33 years later when Emmanuel, God with Us, allowed himself to be sacrificed for our sins.  During the Christmas season we also think of the wise men, who scholars believe may have come from present day Iraq, who brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to honor the newborn king.

After more than a year and a half of preparation, that will be the day when Arabic speaking children all over the Middle East and North Africa will have their prayers answered, and this new Christian channel just for them will go on the air.  The new channel will enable children living across the five time zones in the region to tune in and watch quality Arabic Christian programming whenever it is best for them, enabling many more viewers to watch.
