Several years ago, Martha Sue wanted to see what TV was like in the Middle East, so she looked online and found a video of a kindergarten class graduation. To her horror, she saw 5-year-olds wearing camouflage outfits and hoods with eyeholes carrying wooden guns.
They were practicing killing people for the glory of their god. She says,
That was chilling. This made me realize we need to tell those children something simple – Jesus loves them. We need to tell them early, often, and on TV. And SAT-7 does just that … That’s one reason I love volunteering with SAT-7 and feel it’s important work.
So Martha Sue began volunteering with SAT-7. For over ten years, she has used her gifting in television broadcasting, to help SAT-7 PARS on various projects and programs. Traveling to the Middle East, she learned about the lives impacted by SAT-7 and, simultaneously, helped to further efforts at engaging with our viewers. You too can be a part of SAT-7!
