How Would You Respond?

At a SAT-7 Audience Relations center, the phone rings. On the other line is an angry and confused viewer. He shouts into the phone: “Why do you say Jesus is the Son of God?” “Why do you believe in three Gods?” How would you respond?

 

 

 

Calls like this from scholars, students and concerned seekers are a regular occurrence for SAT-7. Counselors respond with love and respect, talking through Bible verses with callers, explaining scripture, and even praying with callers. It takes time to connect with another person’s heart, but counselors make God’s love visible. His Word penetrates their hearts; the Gospel breaks through.

SAT-7 called the confused viewer back a few times, shared our teaching programs and received a heartfelt message from him. “I feel God has given me peace. I am glad that Jesus is my Savior and the Spirit of God is in me.”
