Originally born and raised in South Florida, Amber now lives in Western North Carolina with her husband and their young family. Raised in the Christian church, she has a deep love for serving through children’s ministry and music ministry. She sings and plays piano and guitar. Outside of ministry and family life, Amber enjoys painting, road trips, hiking high mountains, beachcombing, herping, and researching ancestry.
At the heart of everything Amber does is a desire to sit at the feet of Jesus and spend time with Him in the secret place. Since childhood, God has given her a particular love for the people of the Middle East and North Africa, especially women and children. She sees her work with SAT-7 as a doorway into the heart of God.
Amber holds an associate degree in Biblical Theology from Life Christian University, as well as associate degrees in Medical Business Administration and Early Childhood Development from Southwestern Community College. Before joining SAT-7, she spent seven years as a business office manager for a residential general contractor and five years as a supervisor in the dietary department of a nursing home.
As the Administrative Specialist on SAT-7’s Operations Team, Amber supports the ministry through daily operations and administrative responsibilities, helping enable the work of SAT-7 and those serving throughout the region.
Jesus revealed Himself as Lord through His suffering, miracles, death, burial, and resurrection. For Amber, it is an incredible privilege to spend each day helping encourage Christian brothers and sisters who are experiencing suffering, while also helping share the love of God with people throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Her deepest longing is to see people experience freedom and new life in Jesus’ name.
