I am deeply grateful for your precious prayers and encouraging programs. There is no church here, but thanks to you I never feel alone."

At a time when many are concerned about the kind of content children are seeing and sharing, a SAT-7 KIDS video challenge is inspiring positive, faith-filled activities.
The initiative involves young viewers making short videos of themselves completing different monthly tasks. For each video, they receive a personalized digital badge. And when they complete four challenges, they receive a gift in the mail.
Activities so far have included: memorizing and reciting short Bible verses; creating prayer boxes with their families; sending messages of love and appreciation to people in their lives; and singing a worship song.
“We launched the badges initiative to encourage children to engage with biblical values in a creative and interactive way, while also helping them feel that they are active participants in SAT-7 KIDS rather than simply viewers,” said Marianne Awaraji, SAT‑7 Arabic Viewer Support Director.
“What I enjoy most is seeing the children encourage one another. One child memorizes a Bible verse; another creates a prayer box with their family; another shares an act of kindness. Other children watching can be inspired to do something similar.”
Content Creators
Each monthly challenge is promoted on the SAT-7 KIDS channel and its digital platforms. Some of the children’s videos are then shared – with parental permission – on the live program Jesus Our Strength.
Since launching the badges challenge in February, SAT-7 KIDS has received over 200 video submissions from young participants.
As well as helping the children to grow in their faith through simple activities connected to everyday life, the challenge is also inspiring them to become the positive content creators of tomorrow.
“Children today grow up in a world where creating and sharing content is very normal, and many aspire to become influencers themselves,” Marianne said. “We want to use that interest positively by giving them opportunities to learn how to create and share content that is meaningful and encouraging and that reflects good values.”
The videos shared by the children also help SAT-7 KIDS develop content that is connecting with the needs and interests of the channel’s young audience.
“Through their videos, drawings, messages, and conversations, we can better understand what they are interested in, what excites them, the questions they are asking, and some of the problems and challenges they are facing at home, at school, or in their relationships,” Marianne added.
I watch all of your live shows. Sometimes I watch for 4-5 hours a day. I owe the changes in my life to SAT‑7’s programs; I don’t have any other source, as I have no Christian friends and no Bible."
