Crossroads

7th October 2025

Participating in the practices and traditions that come with many religions is not proof of having a relationship with God. Iraj from Iran shared his testimony with SAT-7 about how his religious performances didn’t help him get closer to God. Instead, he discovered the real truth about his practices.

Iraj shared, “For years, my prayers were false and imitative, especially when I prayed in the church community. My goal and intention were for others to hear and validate my prayers, but these deceptive prayers misled me.” His life remained unfulfilled because of his lack of faith.

He continued, “My best prayer came when I was stuck at a crossroads for two years. I was among faithful friends, but I lacked salvation until I asked the Lord. I remember feeling so frustrated and restless that I fell asleep alone, and in that dreamlike state, the Lord met me. I will never forget that moment. At that moment, the Lord told me that I was chosen, and I came to faith.” This was a life-changing moment for Iraj.

“I wish my faith had been sincere and simple from the beginning, born out of need, because it was so good. But I became a false believer. I thank God that through studying commentaries, the Bible, satellite channels, and your dear network, I had the opportunity to see the path of truth and come out of misguidance,” Iraj said. He continues to pray each day that the people in Iran will come to know the Lord as well.

Thank you for supporting SAT-7 to help share the Gospel in the Middle East and North Africa. Your partnership is helping viewers like Iraj come to know Jesus.
