More Than a Channel

For decades, SAT-7 has been welcomed into homes across the Middle East and North Africa, sharing biblical teaching, encouragement, and hope. For Yasmine from Egypt, SAT-7 has been a faithful companion throughout much of her life.

“I have been following SAT-7 for more than twenty years,” Yasmine shared. “Back then, we only had a television with two channels at home: Channel One and Channel Two. To this day, I do not know how I first received the SAT-7 signal, but I am grateful that I did.”

After responding to a SAT-7 birthday celebration on WhatsApp, Yasmine connected with the Viewer Support Team and reflected on the impact the ministry has had on her journey of faith.

When asked which programs had influenced her most, she found it difficult to choose. “All of SAT-7’s programs are wonderful,” she said, “but several have had a particularly strong influence on me.”

She highlighted programs such as The Coach with Dr. Ihab Majid, From Heart to Heart, and Journey of Life. Through these programs, Yasmine gained practical wisdom for everyday life. “I learned many valuable lessons about marriage, parenting, and daily life,” she explained. “The SAT-7 team has played an important role in helping me grow and learn over the years.”

Yasmine’s story is a reminder that God often works through faithful, long-term ministry. What began as a television signal reaching her home became a source of encouragement, discipleship, and spiritual growth for more than twenty years.
