God is continually drawing people to Himself, meeting them with truth, hope, and the promise of new life. Sometimes that journey begins with a simple question.
Vivi, a woman from South Sudan who currently lives in Egypt, reached out to SAT-7 after watching a program about building a relationship with the Lord. She wanted to understand one question that had been on her heart: Is Jesus Christ truly God?
As the conversation unfolded, Vivi also shared a personal prayer request. Her sister had been diagnosed with cancer, and she asked the Viewer Support Team to pray for her healing. Although Vivi had never read the Bible, she expressed a sincere desire to learn.
The Viewer Support Team welcomed her warmly, prayed for her sister, and answered her questions about who Jesus is. They shared the hope of the Gospel, explaining Christ’s love, His sacrifice, and why Christians believe He is God. Throughout the conversation, Vivi listened with an open heart and a desire to know more.
The team encouraged her to begin reading the Bible, starting with the Gospel of John, and explained the importance of spending daily time with the Lord through prayer and Scripture. As they prayed together, Vivi made the life-changing decision to begin a new relationship with Jesus Christ.
Her story is a beautiful reminder that God is still drawing people to Himself every day. A question led to a conversation, a conversation led to truth, and truth led to new life in Christ.
