My family is following SAT‑7 all the time. It is the channel for families! Everything is so great... None of the other channels can compare."

Young voices and hands were lifted in praise when a SAT-7 KIDS team took their live worship program out of the studio in Cairo to families from remote villages in the heart of Egypt’s southern region.
The special episode of I Dwell in Him was filmed on location at The Children’s Center of Assiut, Upper Egypt, on September 26.
“Engagement with the children is very important through social media but it is even better when we leave the studio to go to them and meet them on the ground,” said worship leader and program presenter, Mina Awny. “It is the ultimate experience for us and for them. We see their needs, their faces, and their reactions.”
Children and their families traveled to the recording from remote villages in Assiut and beyond, excited to have the opportunity to attend a large Christian gathering.
A Joyful Moment
The SAT-7 team prayed for some of the children in attendance who were facing health and other challenges. One of them was four-year-old Andy, an enthusiastic viewer of I Dwell in Him who was determined to come despite feeling unwell on the day of the recording.
“It was a very joyful moment for us as a family, and we saw just how special that day was in Andy’s heart,” said his father, Hany. “As a family, we want to honor the Lord and thank Him for this program because its impact on our home has truly been great.
“Andy learned praise and worship through the program. He now spends all his time singing and praising God, and he memorizes the Bible verses and worship songs he learns. We find him imitating the ideas presented on the program and living them out at home all the time.”
The team also prayed for a child who has been ill with pneumonia and an orphan girl who is receiving treatment for a brain tumor.
Focusing on the Lord
The young participants at the venue and SAT-7 KIDS viewers watching at home were inspired by Psalm 1 to set aside distractions and troubles and focus solely on the Lord and His Word.
In between songs, Mina encouraged the children with practical messages based on the Scripture, urging them to be like the person in Psalm 1, who is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.
“Praise and worship is very important for the children because it lets them focus on the Lord instead of circumstances around them and distractions like social media,” Mina said. “Where they gaze is where their life will follow. Praise and worship takes their eyes to the Lord as the King of their life.”
The I Dwell in Him team plans to film more episodes outside of the studio to connect personally with young viewers in their churches and towns elsewhere in Egypt.
“As long as we can go out and worship publicly, we will continue because it lifts their eyes towards the kingdom. We want them to see that God is among us all, wherever we are,” Mina said.
In the past, I didn’t believe in God, but recently I was baptized. My mother-in-law is not a Christian but supported me in becoming a Christian. We were both watching your channel when you invited us for a prayer. And she lifted up her hands and prayed with you. I was very surprised and impressed. You are making really good and effective programs. The Lord works in places you cannot always see."
