A relationship with God can sometimes feel difficult to maintain. Even when we long to know Him more deeply, we may struggle with prayer, wonder whether He hears us, or feel unsure how to recognize His voice. For Hamida from Egypt, these questions gradually led her away from prayer and reading the Bible.
“When I began my relationship with God, I wanted to know Him more and talk with Him,” she shared. “But after a while, I started to feel like I was saying the same things every day. Sometimes I feel like God is not hearing me.”
Unsure how to move forward, Hamida couldn’t pray or spend time in God’s Word. Yet beneath her discouragement was a desire to reconnect with the Lord.
When Hamida reached out to SAT-7’s Viewer Support Team, they welcomed her warmly, listened to her concerns, and encouraged her honesty and longing to return to God. They spoke with her about His unconditional love, the importance of a relationship with Jesus, and the biblical promise of new life in Him.
The team prayed with Hamida and encouraged her to renew her commitment to Christ. They also suggested joining a discipleship group or Bible study and shared a link to SAT-7 PLUS, where she could continue growing in her faith.
After their conversation, Hamida shared a beautiful update:
“I prayed that my relationship with Jesus would be renewed, and I felt very relieved while talking with Him, and I want to start a new life with Jesus.”
Hamida’s story reminds us that seasons of spiritual struggle do not have to be the end of our journey with God. His love remains steadfast, and He welcomes us as we turn our hearts toward Him again. Through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers, we can continue growing in our relationship with Christ, one step at a time.
Thank you for partnering with SAT-7. Your support is helping viewers like Hamida grow closer to Jesus.
