SAT-7 REACHES PEOPLE WITH THE GOSPEL
SAT-7 is making God’s love visible in the Middle East and North Africa, where nearly 97% of the people are non-Christian. While many of these countries are closed to the Gospel, our four satellite TV channels and online media by-pass censorship. Viewers are coming to faith and Christians are growing in their faith.
SAT-7 BRINGS CHILDREN TO JESUS
Many children in the Middle East and North Africa grow up surrounded by conflict and without the hope found in the Gospel. But SAT-7 Bible-centered children’s programming is a light in the darkness. These programs are loved by kids and trusted by parents. Because they watch together, we reach both with the Gospel.
SAT-7 EQUIPS AND STRENGTHENS THE CHURCH
For many believers in the Middle East and North Africa, SAT-7 is their sole connection to other Christians. Their countries are closed to the Gospel and they face persecution because of their faith. Our Bible teaching, worship, talk shows, and other programs are helping Christians feel connected and grow in their faith.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
These statements of faith ground SAT-7’s vision and mission. They guide the organization in program production, selection, personnel and policy decisions, and ministry with its viewers and supporting constituency.
The Nicene Creed, later called the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, is one of the oldest and most widely recognized ecumenical professions of faith used in Christian liturgy. It has been cited as perhaps the best description and definition of Christianity ever written. In its 381 version, the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed states:
We believe in one god the father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten son of God, begotten from his Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten not made, being of one substance with the father, by whom all things were made.
Who for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the holy spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate.
He suffered and was buried, and on the third day, he rose again according to the scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the father. And he shall come again in glory to judge both the living and the dead; and his kingdom shall have no end.
We believe in the holy spirit, the lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the father, who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.

In a part of the world many consider “hopeless,” we choose to broadcast HOPE in Christ! Following are more SAT-7 Distinctives, which guide program policies and all SAT-7 activities. They set SAT-7 apart, making this ministry different from virtually all other Christian broadcasting organizations in the Middle East and North Africa.
SAT-7 is culturally relevant and respectful. We do not use coercive methods or attack other religions.
SAT-7 encourages the defense of peace, biblical human rights, justice, and social and economic development.
SAT-7 seeks to show the unity of the Church, with all its diversity, helping different denominations understand one another.
SAT-7 broadcasts seek to educate, inform, inspire, and motivate.
SAT-7 will not promote any political party, figure or ideology.
SAT-7 cares about the spiritual health and the holistic needs of our viewers. We serve the whole person. We are unafraid to tackle important topics such as women’s equality, disability, poverty, or discrimination.
SAT-7 seeks to dispel negative stereotypes that non-Christians have of Christians, the Church, and Christ.
SAT-7 seeks to give legitimacy to Christian minorities in areas of the world where they have none.
SAT-7 does not sell airtime to other ministries.

FOUNDING MOMENT.
Founder Dr. Terence Ascott saw something life-changing in the busy streets of Cairo, Egypt. As he spotted a family watching television, he had a “eureka!” moment. Most who cannot read can watch television; they can hear about the love of God. From this, a dream was born: to establish a Christian satellite television network that would reach across the Middle East and North Africa.
