A New Beginning

It is never too late to experience the transforming grace of Jesus Christ. Karam, a man in his sixties from Egypt, contacted SAT-7’s Viewer Support Team after responding to a campaign about finding freedom from sin.

Having recently lost his wife, he carried a heavy heart and a deep desire to be reconciled with God. “My wife has gone to be with the Lord,” he shared. “Please pray that God will forgive my many sins.”

As the conversation continued, Karam spoke openly about his longing for repentance and a restored relationship with Christ.

“Your words have brought me comfort,” he said. “Please continue to pray for me, that the Lord Jesus Christ will forgive my many failures, sins, and transgressions, receive me as His own, and bring an end to my time of wandering far from Him.”

The Viewer Support Team reminded Karam of the hope found in Jesus, sharing the story of the thief on the cross and the promise that God’s grace is available to all who turn to Him in faith. Together, they prayed, and Karam made the life-changing decision to begin a new relationship with Jesus Christ as the Savior of his life.

His journey did not end there. The team encouraged him to spend daily time with the Lord through prayer and Scripture and invited him to begin a discipleship journey, which he gladly accepted.

Filled with gratitude, Karam later shared a simple but heartfelt blessing: “May God give me a heart as kind and beautiful as yours.”

Karam’s story is a powerful reminder that God’s invitation is never limited by age or past failures. His grace is always sufficient, and He faithfully welcomes everyone who turns to Him with a humble and repentant heart.
