Darkness Turned to Light

9th October 2025

Living in a place surrounded by violence and sadness weighs heavily on many. Faramarz from Afghanistan shared with SAT-7 how he was able to overcome the darkness even though he was living in the middle of it.

He shared, “Three years ago, I was completely exhausted and in deep darkness. I grew tired of the killings, bloodshed, and the culture I was involved in. I always told myself that I wished I could be free from these difficult things.” When life felt hopeless to Faramarz, God showed him the way.

He continued, “One day, I met someone at an education center and we got to know each other. They introduced me to Christianity, and we studied together for a while. I have had the Bible on my phone for some time and read it regularly. Now, I want to grow spiritually and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.” Faramarz found hope when it felt like there was none.

“Thank God that the darkness has turned to light. It is only through faith I found in the Lord Jesus Christ,” Faramarz said. Even in the darkest places of the earth, God still shines His light.

Please continue to pray for viewers like Faramarz in the Middle East and North Africa. Your support is giving hope to those who need it most.
