Peace in the Midst of Fear

Fear can become a heavy burden, especially when past hardships leave us constantly expecting another loss. For Sheila from Egypt, difficult circumstances had left her feeling anxious and overwhelmed. She also felt that the responsibilities of family life rested almost entirely on her shoulders.

When Sheila reached out to SAT-7’s Viewer Support Team, she shared her constant fear and the stress she was experiencing in her marriage.

The team listened with compassion and acknowledged the pressure she was carrying. They encouraged her to communicate openly with her husband, approaching difficult conversations with love and respect. They also reminded her that while circumstances and relationships can change, God remains constant. His presence, love, and care are dependable, even in seasons of uncertainty.

The team encouraged Sheila to seek the Lord for her life, home, and future, renew her commitment to Him, and make prayer a part of her daily life. They prayed together and suggested that she and her husband begin praying together as well.

In time, Sheila shared encouraging news. She said, “I tried talking to my husband, and things between us have become much calmer, and I hope it continues.”

She also shared that she was making an effort to pray and read the Bible and hoped to begin praying with her husband in the coming days. She thanked the team for their prayers and support.

Sheila’s story reminds us that God can meet us in the middle of our worries and guide us toward renewed hope. Even when the future feels uncertain, we can find comfort in the One who remains faithful and walks beside us through every season.
