Thankfulness Despite Hardships

It can be difficult to find gratitude in life when things seem to be going wrong or feel challenging. Many times, we look to God to blame Him for our sufferings when, in reality, we are right in the middle of His perfect plan.

Ghada from Egypt reached out to the SAT-7 Viewer Support Team to express gratitude during her times of trials. She shared, “I feel lost. The pressures of life weigh heavily on me, responsibilities are increasing, and the burdens of life feel greater than what I can bear. I feel confused and lost, but I know God is always by my side and never leaves me.”

Ghada’s experiences led her to opportunities to deepen her relationship with the Lord. The Viewer Support Team answered Ghada’s questions and spoke with her about setting aside daily time with the Lord through prayer and studying His Word. She was given a link to worship songs. Then, she was introduced to the idea of discipleship, and she welcomed it.

“Thank You, Lord, for I am precious and loved by You. I also thank God for placing you by my side to guide me and light my path. I want to go deeper in my relationship with the Lord. I’ve started studying the Bible, and spending time with the Lord has been wonderful. With your support, I’ve been doing well in getting to know the Bible,” Ghada shared. No matter our circumstances, God always has the answers.
