Financial Turmoil

We live in a broken world surrounded by temptations and darkness. Shahin, a viewer from Iran, contacted SAT-7 to share his experience with financial hardships. After coming to Jesus, he discovered his greatest desire.

Shahin shared, “It’s been about a year since I came to the Christian faith. For a while, I faced severe financial difficulties to the point where I was torn between immigration and suicide.” When it feels like life is falling apart, it isn’t easy to see the goodness left in life.

He continued, “During that time, I heard an inner voice saying, ‘Be calm, my child.’ From that moment, I understood that God was speaking to me.” Shahin was transformed after this experience. He pursued his faith and leaned on God.

“I spoke with one of my brothers in faith, I fasted like Daniel, and I was in prayer for forty days. God performed a miracle, and my problems were somewhat resolved,” Shahin said. As easy as it would have been to give up, he remained faithful that the Lord would provide. He continued, “Now, my greatest desire is to be filled with the Holy Spirit in my heart.”
