A New Relationship

Knowing Jesus and accepting Him into your life are two separate accounts. While knowing Who Jesus is can be liberating, only true freedom can come from accepting Him into your heart. Dalal from Syria came to accept Jesus with the guidance of the SAT-7 Viewer Support Team.

Dalal shared, “My knowledge of the Lord Jesus is not new; it has always been deeply rooted in my soul. However, I hadn’t given it much importance until now, because I come from a different background.” Going against family expectations and cultural influences can be challenging. However, Dalal continued to pursue a new relationship with Jesus.

Dalal reached out to our team to seek resources and guidance. Through several conversations, we shared the Good News with her and sent her a link to explore further. We asked Dalal if she understood who Jesus Christ is and whether she would accept a relationship with Him. Dalal accepted this new relationship with the Lord. We encouraged her to pray and sent her a link to the Bible to help her grow in her faith.

She prayed the prayer of salvation with our team: “O Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You for Your love for me. I thank You for coming to save and redeem me through Your cross. I acknowledge You as my Lord, master, and savior. I confess and repent of all my past sins and accept You into my heart as Lord to dwell within me and give me a new heart that loves and worships You all the days of my life. Amen.”
