Contentment in the Ruins

There is nothing on this earth that can fulfill our hearts and desires like the love and peace of Jesus. As hard as we try to obtain contentment in our lives using our own agendas, there will never be true peace without Christ.

Anas is a teenager from Syria who likes to draw, and he loves to learn new languages. He also lives among the ruins of a war-torn country. Many might believe that this child could never find contentment due to his living circumstances. However, Anas finds contentment in the ruins because he pursues faith. He said, “We all belong to God, and I love God very much. I thank Him for everything He has provided us.”

Anas receives the good news of the Gospel often by engaging with the SAT-7 Viewer Support Team and through watching the programs. He shared, “I am very happy to be able to speak with you, my friends at SAT-7. SAT-7 KIDS is our home, and I love it so much. I want to thank you for your wonderful programs. My School is one of my favorite programs. It is useful and enjoyable.”
