Many people across the Middle East and North Africa silently carry burdens of loneliness and discouragement. Through SAT-7’s Viewer Support ministry, hurting viewers are finding compassionate listeners, biblical encouragement, and renewed hope.
Amira, a woman from Egypt, recently shared her struggle with isolation after 25 years of marriage. “I have been married for 25 years to a very kind man,” she explained, “but I often feel as though he does not truly see me or share with me what I am going through. I feel a deep sense of isolation and loneliness, and I have completely lost confidence in myself.”
The SAT-7 Viewer Support Team responded with empathy and care, encouraging Amira to communicate openly and honestly with her husband about her emotional needs. They reminded her that people often express love differently and encouraged her not to measure her worth by the responses or actions of others. Most importantly, the team reminded Amira that she is deeply valued and loved by God.
As the conversation continued, Amira expressed gratitude for the encouragement and understanding she received. “I find joy and comfort in talking to you,” she shared. “It is the first time I have found someone who listens to me, understands me, and also advises me this way. Thank you so much.”
Amira’s story reflects the importance of a compassionate Christian community. Through SAT-7’s programs and Viewer Support ministry, viewers who feel unseen and unheard are discovering that they are not alone, and that God sees, values, and cares deeply for them.
