The return of live webinars for viewers in Iran has reopened a vital space for believers to ask questions, pray together, and share their struggles at a time when renewed conflict in the country has brought fresh fear and uncertainty.
For many SAT-7 viewers in Iran, the strain of recent months has been deeply personal: trying to reassure children, care for elderly relatives, and navigate each day not knowing what tomorrow might bring. And tensions are rising again as renewed airstrikes continue following the breakdown of a 60-day ceasefire made in agreement with the US in mid-June.
Since the return of the internet following a shutdown lasting almost three months, SAT-7 PARS has been able to relaunch its interactive webinar ministry. And the latest topic, “How Not to Collapse in Hard Times,” was greatly appreciated by those taking part.
“Today, the most important thing, especially for us Christian believers, is to have someone who will listen to us, hear our heartaches, truly understand our pain, and genuinely show great compassion,” said one of the participants, Dadmehr.
“I Have Been Revived”
Led by members of the Viewer Support Team alongside guest pastors, the Zoom-based webinars are designed to provide in-depth support for Isolated Believers. Combining Bible teaching, discussion, questions, and prayer, they offer participants a rare opportunity not only to learn, but to share what they are carrying.
“In Iran, many believers do not have access to a local church or even a house church, leaving them with limited opportunities for systematic, sound biblical teaching,” said Ashraf Khalilpour, SAT-7 PARS Viewer Support Manager. “While our broadcast programs meet a massive part of this need, television is ultimately a one-way communication channel. The webinars fill this vital gap by providing a two-way, interactive space where individuals can focus deeply on a specific topic, ask questions, and receive personalized support.”
Responses from participants quickly revealed how much this support is needed. They described finding renewed hope and a place to bring their fears and questions before God.
“I have been going through difficult days full of questions and challenges, unanswered questions full of sorrow. But in these three days [of webinars], I have been revived and am almost returning to normal life,” wrote Elham.
For Shahnaz, the impact was equally profound. “I was going through challenges and pains with great difficulty and trembling steps. It was as if my ears could no longer hear God’s voice; only pain, suffering, tears, and unanswered questions remained. But I testify that in this webinar, I received new hope. Now I know that hardships cannot steal my faith, but I will rise stronger than before because the living God is with me.”
“You Brought Peace to My Heart”
Further feedback highlighted how participants found not only practical guidance, but a renewed sense of peace in the middle of uncertainty.
“You brought great peace to my heart when you said that the Lord completes whatever He starts and does not abandon His children halfway,” says Sogand. “Hearing this was truly encouraging and gave me a special peace.”
Kamiar spoke of finding “several keys for the locks in my life through this webinar”: “Important keys such as unconditional trust in God in the face of extreme difficulties, not being fearful, praise and thanksgiving in every degree of hardship, and sharing my heart with God because He is trustworthy and infallible.”
Several participants also described leaving the sessions feeling better equipped to face whatever lay ahead.
Mansour shared how his family had suffered a lot of damage – financial, mental, and emotional – over the last five months. “This webinar gave us a new perspective and prepared us on how to trust God in difficulties,” he said. “We are extremely grateful for this webinar being held.”
“Equipped for Ministry”
Previous sessions held before the conflict in Iran explored fundamental themes such as “Living on the Foundation of Truth” and “Faith in Daily Life.”
The topics are now directly addressing the challenges raised by the current situation. At the end of this month, two specialized workshops will take place: for men, “Being a Man Under Pressure;” and for women, “When Everything Is on Your Shoulders.”
The conflict continues. The uncertainty remains.
But as SAT-7 PARS prepares its next set of webinars, it continues to invest in something that endures beyond any crisis: believers equipped to live out their faith, whatever tomorrow brings.
