John joined the SAT-7 team in 2017 to combine his passion for reaching people around the world with the Gospel and his extensive career knowledge. He has 35 years of experience in financial-related companies and non-profit organizations including, Food for the Hungry, Medical Teams International, and most recently as the Vice President of Development at Feed the Children. In addition, John is an ordained Minister and has served on multiple local and national faith-based boards and leadership teams. He is passionate about taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ in tangible ways to the physically and spiritually impoverished.

In his role as SAT-7 Vice President of Development, John works closely with donors passionate about making God’s love visible in the Middle East and North Africa, helping them protect their estates, and make planned gifts. He works with donors and our professional planned giving partners to consider and implement wills and trusts, tax-wise giving through stocks and non-cash assets, and gifts that pay an income. A great day for John is meeting and speaking with donors to share how God is using their support of SAT-7 and help them plan a legacy of generosity.
