“A New Light Entered My Heart”

4th June 2025

Challenges in life can stack up, which can make it feel impossible to break free. Fortunately, there is a way out through Jesus. Behbod, a viewer from Iran, contacted SAT-7 to share his experience during a time in his life when everything was going wrong.

Behbod shared, “About three years ago, I was in a very difficult situation; bankrupt, alone, and facing an unfinished building project. Suddenly, I received news that my son had an accident without a license and had broken a woman’s leg. Her family was pressuring (her) for compensation. I had no way out.” The pressures of life became too much for Behbod to handle.

“I was just crying in my solitude, and at that moment, a childhood memory came to my mind. I had gone to church with an Armenian family and heard a testimony about the salvation of a pilot in the name of Jesus Christ. Right there, I decided to pray and call on the name of Christ,” he shared. A small seed that was planted so many years ago came to fruition on this day.

Behbod continued with enthusiasm, “I called out, ‘Jesus Christ, if you are there, help me.’ And He helped. The problem was solved. It was then that I gave my heart to Christ and said, ‘I will be with you for the rest of my life.’”

As Behbod began to pursue his new faith, he discovered resources along the way that brought him hope and encouragement. “I began to search online and found other believers. I was mentored by others. My life changed, and a new light entered my heart. Thank you for my Savior, Jesus Christ,” he said.

Please continue to partner with SAT-7 to support viewers like Behbod. When life becomes too difficult to endure, your partnership helps share the Gospel with viewers who need hope.
