At a time when families across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are being separated by conflict, scattered by displacement, or strained by hardship and isolation, the worldwide family of God becomes vital for SAT-7’s viewers as a source of care and connection.

Over one million people remain displaced in Lebanon as Israeli air strikes continue.1 Sudan’s ongoing war has created one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises. And in Iran, repeated internet blackouts and communication restrictions have left millions cut off from the outside world.

Yet through satellite broadcasts, prayer, and personal messages from Viewer Support Teams, SAT-7 continues to connect believers across borders and barriers, reminding them that they are part of God’s worldwide family.

In Mark 3:35, Jesus says: “Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” It is a clear message that all followers of Christ are part of a vast and wondrous family that transcends borders, languages, and nationality. And when we join, we are never alone again.

“You Are My Family”

“I am very alone and have no one for fellowship,” Primah from Iran told SAT-7 PARS’ Viewer Support Team. “But when you respond to me, I feel a real warmth; my faith in the Lord is strengthened, [knowing] that He will never leave me alone. You are my family, and I love you.”

Even in isolation, Primah discovered that she does not stand alone. It is a theme that repeats time and time again throughout messages received from viewers. In God’s providence, it is often a message sent by SAT-7 at exactly the right moment. Or it is an episode or social media post that speaks to the heart.

“My husband, children, and I are so alone,” writes Shida. “Dear sister or brother, when you send a message to me, I am so overjoyed and I say to myself that I have someone who asks after me or sends me God’s Word.”

For Shida, a simple message is a reminder that someone cares. And for Yasmin, that connection transcends distance entirely.

“Thank you for being the support we needed at our time of loneliness,” she told SAT-7. “Regardless of being miles apart, we have received so much from you, and that is God’s miracle.”

In a region where many believers experience isolation or pressure because of their faith, and where conflict and displacement intensify everyday challenges, support from believers elsewhere makes all the difference.

“I’m very lonely here, there are no believers around me,” Elnaz from Iran said. “I’m so glad that you are my family and I look forward to speaking with you.”

These testimonies remind us that family is not limited by blood or borders or proximity. It is in God’s worldwide family that many SAT‑7 viewers are experiencing care, belonging, and connection.

Please Pray
