IRANIAN WOMAN TESTIFIES TO SAT-7 PARS’ IMPACT IN HER LIFE

1st April 2022

Laleh*, an Iranian viewer of SAT-7’s Persian-language channel SAT-7 PARS, recently described how the channel has helped her grow in faith and find peace in Christ. Through its programs and dedicated viewer support teams, SAT-7 PARS has been serving viewers in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan for over 15 years.

I wanted to share a testimony with you. I have been speaking with sister Mitra* [SAT-7 PARS viewer support team member] for some time, and I want to thank every one of you, my dear friends at SAT-7 PARS.

I want to tell you how much you have helped change my life: my thoughts, words, and behavior. I used to be a very angry person, hardly able to forgive anyone who had ever harmed me. But through your channel and the written and audio content you have been sending, I have been able to deal with the evil inside me that was at the root of my anger.

You taught me not to be a victim and to be able to forgive. I was even able to forgive someone whom I had been unable to forgive for about 35 years. These things were not possible for me before. I have also been brought to a point when I know I do not need to carry my burdens and I can give them to the Lord. He has come to my help in an amazing way.

You have caused blessings to come into my life not just for me, but also for all those dear to me. They all ask me, “What are you doing that has brought you so much tranquility?” or, “How come there is so much peace in the way you speak and behave? Where does it come from?” The lives of many people have changed and are changing. What a great and worthy work you have done in me, so that through you I can know the loving-kindness of the Lord, and through me others can know it too. Now we can experience true salvation and live by the Word; by Jesus Christ.

For all this I thank you, both for myself and for many who have been lifted up by the hand of God through your work. I urge you to continue in the power of the Lord, knowing that your work is bearing fruit. And I pray that the grace and kindness of the Lord will be with you, enabling each one of you to bless the people of Iran. As each of us is blessed by you, we become instruments in the hands of the Lord to bless others.
