Donya, a viewer from Iran, shared her testimony with SAT-7. When she faced a possible situation that could have ended her life, Donya chose to bring her fears and worries to God. She trusted Him.
Donya shared, “Two years ago, I went to my doctor for a heart check-up. My cardiologist discovered that I had an abdominal aneurysm. My aorta, which carries blood from my heart to the lower parts of my body, was severely dilated. I was told there was a possibility at any moment of the vessel bursting and causing instant death.”
Struck with fear, Donya went searching for hope. “I consulted many specialists and doctors, but they all unanimously believed that even if I had surgery and survived, both of my kidneys would fail. I was desperate, and my family was upset and anxious,” she said.
When she did not find answers or solutions from the doctors and specialists, Donya turned to the Lord. She shared, “I never lost hope in God. I went into the Lord’s presence and prayed continually, seeking His will, and said, ‘Dear Father, I don’t know what to do, and there is nothing I can do. So, I entrust it all to you. My Jesus, you are the decision-maker and the opener of paths, and I will trust you alone.’”
Her fear quickly turned into rejoicing. She said, “Believe me, less than an hour after I prayed, my son came looking happy and with news of a procedure that a doctor has carried out multiple times. On the same night, that specialist visited me. The following week, I had my surgery, and thank God, it was a success. I no longer have any problems with the aneurysm.”
Donya’s life had been completely turned upside down with the news of the aneurysm. Now, she rejoices that her life has been made whole again. “I have seen that trusting in God performs miracles,” she said.
