When Surrender Became the Answer

God often uses personal testimonies to encourage others who are walking through difficult seasons. When Arad, a believer from Iran, contacted SAT-7’s Viewer Support Team, he wanted to share how God had remained faithful through years of loss, hardship, and ultimately, remarkable provision.

“When I became a believer,” he shared, “I lost my whole life and family. I experienced financial ruin, and my family left me because of my faith.”

For years, Arad carried the pain of rejection while faithfully seeking the Lord in prayer. But over time, something began to change, not in his circumstances, but in his heart.

“Instead of complaining,” he said, “I began praying, ‘Lord, what can I do for You?’” That simple prayer marked a new chapter in his journey.

Soon afterward, God answered in an unexpected way. Someone contacted Arad and invited him to apply for a position at a company. “It was an excellent job,” he said, “more than I could have imagined.”

Yet the greatest blessing wasn’t simply financial provision. God also gave Arad an opportunity to live out his faith every day. “I am even sharing the Gospel there,” Arad shared. Looking back, he sees God’s hand guiding him through every trial. “Our God is good and worthy of worship.”

Arad’s testimony reminds us that God is at work even when we cannot see His plan. Seasons of loss are never wasted in His hands. As we surrender our lives to Him and seek His purposes above our own, He is faithful to provide, open new doors, and even transform places of work into opportunities to share the hope of Christ.
