Many people live life each day feeling overwhelmed by the world’s pressures and societal expectations. For some, this leads to a life full of sin and darkness. Jahanbakhsh from Iran was living a sinful life that led him to sickness and poverty.

He contacted SAT-7 to share his testimony of when he came to know Jesus. He said, “In a time when I was at the peak of sin, sickness, and poverty, I heard the voice of the Lord. That voice pulled me out of the darkness and led me towards the light.”

That voice was the first step in his journey toward accepting Jesus into his life. He continued, “One day, as I was passing in front of a church, suddenly a strange feeling awakened in my heart; it was as if someone was calling me. I involuntarily went towards the church; the Lord Himself guided me. When I entered the church, my heart was touched, and my eyes filled with tears. I felt the presence of the Lord enveloping my entire being.”

Jahanbakhsh’s experience is one he will never forget. “When that divine energy came upon me, at that moment, all the sounds – even the birds’ voices – became silent. I felt only God’s presence. From that moment, my body became warm and still. Every time I speak of the Lord, tears flow from my eyes. Hallelujah, thank you to our living God, Jesus Christ,” he shared.
