Statement from SAT-7 PARS in Support of the People of Iran

9th January 2026

For almost two weeks, people across Iran have taken to the streets to express their profound anger about the continued daily suffering experienced by so many in the country.

We at SAT-7 PARS stand with them, as we have done for many years. As a Christian satellite and digital media broadcaster,* we interact daily with people inside the country who share with us experiences of deep pain, increasing pressure, and unbearable hardship.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that God cares deeply about justice for the oppressed and calls us to do the same. We affirm the rights and freedoms of all people, including the freedom of expression, and freedom of thought, conscience, and religion.

What is unfolding in Iran today is, above all, a human and moral crisis. People who are raising their voices for dignity, safety, and the right to determine their own future are being brutally denied these basic rights and freedoms.

We share in the grief of families who have lost loved ones or who live in fear and uncertainty about the fate of those detained. We urge steps that promote justice, accountability, and the protection of human dignity.

Through prayer, truthful storytelling, and the encouragement of God’s Word, we continue to support the people of Iran in our 24/7 broadcasts. Please join us in praying that God will protect them, bring comfort to broken hearts, and open a safe and peaceful path for the future.
