Addiction is imprisonment. What a person searches for through addiction can never be fulfilled. Thankfully, there is hope because of Jesus Christ.

Ghazal from Iran shared how her family members overcame addiction since giving their lives to Christ. She shared, “I heard about Christ through my sister and through watching SAT-7 PARS. My brother and I were watching a SAT-7 PARS program about addictions. My brother was using drugs at the time, so we contacted the program to ask for prayer.”

Ghazal continued, “They prayed for my brother, who did not have faith in anything. He was affected by it, feeling touched by the Lord. From then on, he took quitting seriously and attended the 12-step program. He has stayed away from drugs and has made it his goal to follow Christ.” When it didn’t seem possible to live free from addiction, God found a way to reach Ghazal’s brother.

“These events and miracles all caused me to acknowledge Jesus Christ and pray to Him while watching one of your programs. My husband has also looked to Christ now, and even prayed with a member of the SAT-7 PARS team,” she said. Ghazal’s family received healing and hope.

Your support and prayers for SAT-7 are changing lives in the Middle East and North Africa. God’s love was visible to Ghazal and her family because of your generosity. Thank you!
